Exchange & Buy-Back Policy

This policy is issued by Nebu , owner and operator of the NEBU brand. Applicable across online, retail stores & SIS.

1. Gold Coins

• 15-Day Exchange: Not applicable.
• Lifetime Exchange (LTE): 100% value of gold weight calculated at the prevailing gold rate at the time of exchange.
• Lifetime Buyback (LTB): Buyback value = Applicable Lifetime Exchange value minus additional 3%.

2. Gold Vermeil Jewelry

• 15-Day Exchange:
  15-day no-questions-asked exchange from the date of invoicing and receipt of the product.
  Eligibility:
  • Product must be unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • Original invoice, certificate, and packaging must be intact
• Lifetime Exchange (LTE):
  
  A. Standard Lifetime Exchange (No Mandatory Upgrade)
  Within 1 year from invoice date: 70% of original MRP
  After 1 year from invoice date: 40% of original MRP
  
  Exclusions:
  • GST, discounts, and promotional benefits & offers are excluded
  • No compulsory upsell required
  B. Lifetime Exchange with Upgrade (Value Protection Benefit)
  If customer upgrades to a new product with value equal to or greater than 3× the original invoice value:
  • 100% of original invoice value (excluding GST, discounts, promotional benefits & offers)
  • Metal price fluctuations will not impact the exchange value
  • Applicable for lifetime, subject to product verification
• Lifetime Buyback (LTB):
  Within 1 year from invoice date: 60% of original MRP
  After 1 year from invoice date: 30% of original MRP
  (Excluding GST, discounts & offers)

3. Plain Gold Jewelry

• 15-Day Exchange: 15-day no-questions-asked exchange from the date of invoice and receipt.
• Lifetime Exchange (LTE): 100% value of metal weight calculated at the prevailing metal rate (excluding making charges, GST, discounts & offers).
• Lifetime Buyback (LTB): Buyback value = Applicable Lifetime Exchange value minus additional 3%.

4. Natural Diamond Jewelry

• 15-Day Exchange: 15-day no-questions-asked exchange from the invoice date.
• Lifetime Exchange (LTE):
  Metal: 100% value of metal weight at prevailing metal rate
  Natural Diamond: 100% of prevailing diamond value
  (Excluding making charges, GST, discounts & offers)
• Lifetime Buyback (LTB): Additional 20% deduction from applicable Lifetime Exchange value.

5. Lab-Grown Diamond Jewelry

• 15-Day Exchange: 15-day no-questions-asked exchange from the invoice date.
• Lifetime Exchange (LTE):
  Metal: 100% value of metal weight at prevailing metal rate
  Lab-Grown Diamond: 90% of prevailing diamond value
  (Excluding making charges, GST, discounts & offers)
• Lifetime Buyback (LTB): Additional 20% deduction from applicable Lifetime Exchange value.

Terms & Conditions*

• Customized / Make-to-Order jewelry, including engraved or personalized products, are not eligible for 15-Day Exchange.
• In the absence of the original certificate, the product shall be sent for re-certification. Loss of certificate will attract a ₹1000 deduction.
• Coupons, discounts, or promotional offers availed shall be deducted proportionately from exchange or buyback value.
• Discounts applied on stone, diamond, or labour value during purchase shall be deducted from buyback value.
• Loyalty points used shall be deducted from the Lifetime Exchange value.
• If the new product value exceeds exchange value, the customer shall pay the difference.
• If the new product value is lower, the difference shall be credited as store credit (non-transferable, non-encashable).
• Buyback and exchange values are subject to inspection of gold weight and diamond specifications.
• Prevailing market value shall be determined by Nebu only.
• Not applicable for international orders delivered outside India.
• Lifetime Exchange & Buyback values exclude making charges, promotional discounts, and taxes.
• Once exchanged under 15-Day Exchange, further exchanges are treated as Lifetime Exchange.
• Nebu reserves the right to modify these policies at any time.
